Although Ridpath Creative has clients across the nation, it’s particularly gratifying to work with a client that is close to home. Recently, Ridpath Creative was given the opportunity to develop a fresh new look and enhanced user experience for Shoal Creek Dental Care’s website. Dr. Brad Gaik and the team at Shoal Creek Dental Care are located in Liberty, MO, and they provide quality dental care for their patients. I was honored that they trusted Ridpath Creative to give their website a fresh new look and modern user experience.

Shoal Creek Dental Care had very specific needs for their website:

• The site needed to be built on a platform that allowed for non-technical users to make simple updates.
• Design needed to be responsive and provide a good user experience on desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
• Look and feel needed to be refreshed and modernized.  
• Site must be optimized for SEO best practices.

We began by building the new site on an open-source platform for the greatest flexibility. For this project, our open-source preference was Drupal, which enables smooth implementation of various SEO tools, excellent security, and simple updating. Our teams then worked on the design with a focus on the UX (user experience) to make the website attractive and easy to navigate.

The Brand Image – Happy, Friendly, Approachable
For anyone who has visited Shoal Creek Dental Care, they can attest to a friendly, comfortable and professional atmosphere. We specifically chose happy patient images, pleasing friendly colors, an approachable font, and a modern theme to mirror the atmosphere of their business.
