A few months ago, I was asked to help develop an iPad app that would enhance sales presentations for RailWorks. The team not only needed a dynamic way to breathe life into their presentations, but they also wanted to provide the foundation for more collaboration during their in-person meetings.
I was thrilled to accept this assignment, knowing that I could build an app that would be leveraged as a tool to enhance a business process. This is a link to the finished project. Now, each sales associate can use the app to customize presentations that focus on track and signals and communications services. In addition, all RailWorks print brochures and videos can also be accessed via the app if needed. The feature that I like the most is the ability to highlight projects by geographic area utilizing Google maps. The app was launched successfully, and I plan to make updates on a quarterly basis (if needed). Now, the sales team can have a robust, dynamic tool at their fingertips at all times.
